| Step Up to Excellence mentors are chosen from faculty and staff of participating high schools. The job is varied and difficult yet rewarding. The mentors are the most influential adult advocates in the program. They provide trust and support, encouragement and discipline for their students. They also serve a liaisons between the student and the director and between the program and the mentee's family. |
